ABOUT

Cat Maslaveckas

Midwifery BSc (Hons)

Third Trimester Sonography (MSc)

Postgraduate Cert. in Science Education

Meet Cat, our seasoned midwife with over a decade of experience and busy mum of two, currently caring for families on the hospital delivery suite and doubling as a Specialist Midwife Sonographer for those important third trimester growth scans. Her commitment to providing comprehensive care is evident. Cat’s unique journey also includes a stint as a Secondary School Science teacher, showcasing a diverse skill set that she now applies to her passion for antenatal education.

The driving force behind Cat's decision to initiate evidence-based antenatal classes stems from a profound understanding of new parents' experiences. She's been hearing the raw, unfiltered stories from new parents who feel like they've been handed a Rubik's Cube without the instruction manual. Many parents feel unprepared for the challenges of labour, birth, and the subsequent newborn period, even after those traditional antenatal classes.

A positive birth experience is an informed one.
